First, about me:
I got into collecting live shows in Fall 2006 through a friend, who gave me a few shows to get started. From there I joined a few trading sites and things took off from there. In mid-'07 I came back from being out of the country for awhile and got back into cataloguing my old music and getting new stuff. I still have a few hundred shows to burn and catalogue as of Oct. 2007.
Currently, I am trading very little if at all. This may change in Fall/Winter '07. I have lists for "All Shows," "Jimi Hendrix," and "Rap/Hip-Hop/DJ." Please navigate through these lists to find what you're interested in.
I am interested in all types of music, but definitely more audio than video. Here are some genres I'm particularly interested in:
Acoustic blues (i.e. Leadbelly, Rev. Gary Davis)
DJ (hip-hop/turntablism i.e. DJ Shadow, DJ Qbert, not electronica music)
Rap/Hip-Hop, both new and old
Ska
Here are some artists I'm particularly interested in getting recordings from:
Jimi Hendrix (all-time favorite...if you're into trading Hendrix, let me know)
Eels
Screaming Trees
The Skatalites
Rev. Gary Davis

Trading Rules:
-If there are any shows listed here that have been sale and are not to be traded, please let me know and I will remove them
-For Audio, I use only Taiyo Yuden brand discs. I have 20 recordings tops that are not burned on TY discs.
-For Video, I use only Sony DVD+R (I may use TY DVD+R in the future)
-For trading, I expect you to be courteous to me as I will be to you. The show I will burn for you will be on TY media, so I expect the show that I get to be TY media or other similar high quality discs (i.e. Sony)
-Send discs in Paper or plastic sleeves, no jewel cases. And never write on the discs, put all show info on a piece of paper or post-it, and please NOT on the sleeve itself. I will do the same.
-If you see something you're interested in, just let me know. I will take a look at your list and see if there's anything I'd like. If not, then let's talk and we can work something out.
-For most of my shows I have the original text file still, so if you want any additional information (i.e. lineage, source, setlists etc.) just ask and I will try to get that to you.

11. 04/12/68 - Jimi's room - Drake Hotel, New York Frequently listed as Jimi's apartment, various dates in 1968. All previous entries have been merged into this one. This cd was an official CD that was only available if you purchased the book "Voodoo Child: The Illustrated Legend Of Jimi Hendrix". The book clearly states that these recordings were recorded in NYC around April of 1968; another session book pegs this date as April 12th. The book was published by Penguin Books in the USA, England, Canada and New Zealand and was first published in 1995 but I think it's no longer in print. The book is more like a hard-bound comic book and If anyone wants to try tracking it down, the ISBN# is 0-670-86789-6. NY Audio notes

15. 03/25/69 - The Record Plant, New York Jimi Hendrix & John McLaughlin * Hendrix, Cox, Mitchell, Larry Young (organ) ** Hendrix, McLaughlin, Mitchell, Roland Robinson on bass *** Hendrix, McLaughlin, Cox, Mitchell **** Hendrix, Cox, Mitchell During the spring of 1969, John McLaughlin joined Hendrix, Buddy Miles and Dave Holland at the Record Plant for an informal instrumental jam. About 20 minutes of this workout is available on collectors tapes. The recording features Jimi's jazz-rock interpretation of the 'Drivin' South' theme followed by a spirited blues arrangement. The McLaughlin Sessions is a 76-minute release that delivers only the first 12-minutes of the jam, with additional material taken from the 5/14/69 studio session with Larry Young, plus three other "Nine To The Universe" tracks. http://www.bootlegzone.com/album.php?name=mclaughlin NY Audio notes
